What do you do?


Hey, I’m Will and I’m the founding teacher at Will Williams Meditation. I’m here to help each individual achieve balance, overcome any pain and trauma and ultimately enable them to achieve growth and success in all areas of life.

Vedic meditation helps relieve issues such as stress, anxiety and depression while improving creativity and productivity, as well as having a host of other benefits.

We teach a particularly profound form of meditation which is easy to do and fast-acting – so essential in our busy, fast-paced, world. It is so important to us that we pass on what we’ve learned in the most inspiring and empowering way possible, and we go to great lengths to ensure every individual gets all the support they need to really thrive.

When not teaching, I am busy working with educators, healthcare providers and charities, promoting meditation as a holistic response to many of our individual and societal challenges, and encouraging greater research into its effects on all aspects of our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.


Where did your journey start?

I found meditation 9 years ago after experiencing protracted stress-related insomnia. I randomly met a friend of a friend whose life had been transformed by Vedic meditation. Whilst sceptical, I felt compelled to give it a try and see if it was as good as it was cracked up to be. It had such a positive impact on every aspect of my life that I now dedicate my life to sharing this transformative knowledge with others.

When I started thinking about teaching meditation, I sensed that in order to deliver this knowledge in the most powerful ways, I needed to go to the source. A two and a half year global and spiritual odyssey with Jess ensued, meeting with many great masters from across the continents whilst receiving the highest standard of training from the pre-eminent master of Vedic meditation.

I discovered that no matter what the rituals and no matter how interesting, complex or hard core the rites of passage, the greatest and most powerful techniques were the simplest and easiest, available to everyone no matter what their circumstance. It just required the right teaching.

I spent 4 months completing the legendarily intensive Vedic meditation teacher training course. Upon graduation, I met up with Jess once more and we returned to Europe to begin sharing the remarkable fruits of our journey.

Why did you become a meditation teacher?

Meditation had such a profound impact on my life that within a year or so I felt that I should teach it. At the time I was thinking of becoming a school teacher, as I felt that empowering people with knowledge and skills was the best way to make a difference. However, when I spoke to teachers about it, the apparent bureaucracy suggested it wouldn’t have been a good fit.

The more I practised, the more my consciousness expanded. I became aware of the issues negatively affecting the world, and as I advanced it seemed change was possible. I realised that for me, by far the most meaningful impact I could have on the world would be to help people overcome the stress and strain that is creating the collective ‘me first’ dynamic in the world.

I don’t think any of us question the fact that the world needs to change. It’s simply a question of how. For me and the team here at WWM, it is glaringly obvious that it all springs back to consciousness, and so we are dedicating our lives to working in this field. As one of my heroes once said:

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

What do you do?

I’m Jess and I am also a full-time teacher of Vedic Meditation and I help out Will whenever he needs covering for some courses! It is a very precious experience guiding, supporting and getting to know all the lovely people that come to learn. I also step in for some of the group meditations and enjoy a cup of tea with the crew!

I love cooking and integrating the principles of Ayurveda into western cuisine, so when I’m not teaching, I’m sourcing local ingredients and trialling new recipes ready for our retreats and I am also going to India twice a year to study Ayurvedic medicine.

Where did your journey start?

I met Will on the first day of university back in the swinging noughties! By trade I was an architectural historian and I worked in London for several years, coordinating projects throughout Europe and Africa, but I found the regular commute and stress of the work exhausting.  Work was busy, we were busy and I found I was constantly juggling, just about managing to stop the balls from falling and the cracks from showing.

Having witnessed with great interest the change in Will as a result of the meditation, and struggling under the demands of my role, I decided to give it a whirl. It was a life-saver. I became way more efficient, which was desperately needed! I felt calm and balanced, and my anxiety and procrastination abated thank goodness! And for the first time in my life I could make a presentation without my knees knocking and my voice disappearing. It was so liberating.

I’ve always had a nomadic tendency, so when Will suggested we embark on an open-ended global odyssey to discover the roots of this ancient practice, I leaped at the chance. Whilst in India, I was privileged enough to be taken under the wing of the eminent Raju family of Ayurvedic doctors and it was here that I learned the knowledge which has served me every day since and which we gladly share with anyone who is interested, and it is with them that I am now embarking on my voyage into Ayurvedic medicine.

Why Did You Become a Meditation Teacher

I helped Will as his full-time assistant for many years before taking the training myself.  It was the most exquisite experience seeing how people’s faces and demeanour changed over the few days of the course, as they became more relaxed and recognised how much the meditation could enhance their lives. It was deeply precious.  I knew I would love to be able to help people in this way so after my apprenticeship, I embarked on my official training in Rishikesh, India.

There, in the foothills of the Himalayas, I was put through my meditation paces several times over! It was the most unforgettably beautiful and intensive experience, ensuring that this tradition of meditation continues to be passed down in its fullness and purity for the generations to come.

Liam Hart

What do you do?


I’m Liam and I look after all events affiliated with Will Williams Meditation.

Like Will, I spent the best part of ten years working in the live music and nightlife industry. I was hugely busy and although my passion for music never faded, my energy levels were taking a serious pounding. I’d got to a point where I’d burnt out and needed a change. Towards the end of 2015 I started having severe anxiety attacks and was totally immobilised by fear and fatigue.

Not one to let anything beat me, I tried everything in my power to get better – things like: therapy, acupuncture, mindfulness, medication, yoga, exercise and CBT. I must admit, whilst I was actually spending time having an hour of acupuncture or therapy, I felt relaxed but as soon as I left the room I was back to square one again – a hopeless, anxious mess.

Where did your journey start?


A very dear friend recommend that I learn to meditate with Will so my fiancee booked us in for a beginners course. I was hugely cynical because nothing else had helped me feel better but I was happy to give it a shot. From the moment I arrived and saw eight Beatles singles framed on the wall, I knew I had come to the right place! Within hours of learning to meditate (and talking about the Beatles with Will!), the fog started to lift and I felt the anxiety fading away. As we left Will’s apartment that evening, he said something I found totally inspiring and I’ll never forget: “I just want to feel great all of the time”.

I threw myself into meditation and my life took a serious turn in the right direction. I quit my job and decided to look for something new. I stayed in touch with Will and once we got chatting it was clear that Will and I had many similar ideas and he offered me a role looking after events. I jumped at the chance and haven’t looked back since. It is a privilege to be working with the team at Will Williams Meditation and a wonderfully unique place to work.
