"As with millions of people in London or living in any major city, life was good, but slightly frayed around the edges. For me, pulling at the thread was not an option, so I tried meditating for years. Before my course with Will, I never quite found a course, which worked with my needs, made me feel safe. I was struggling to sit still for two minutes, and being told to visualise a hot air balloon or a dolphin wasn't working either. After a horrendous shopping trip off Oxford Street, I stopped off at Wholefoods for some R & R, saw there was an introduction for the course around the corner and had less than ten minutes to make it. It is a large, light filled relaxing space, with great views over London and tea on tap!
The session lasts approximately 1h, although it sometimes proves very stimulating and people find themselves asking lots of questions and getting really into it, so on occasion it will last a little bit more. If time is pressing, its fine to dash off whenever you need, you will find it enlivening and informative however long you stay.
The sessions are open to all so please feel free. There are limited places available so simply let us know as soon as you would like to book an extra place and we can set that aside for you.
No! This is certainly a classic stereotype, however these things are completely superfluous to effective meditation and can actually be somewhat counter-productive. We are all about providing meditation that is easy, comfortable and enjoyable, and which can be done at your convenience anywhere you wish – tube, train, bus, plane, coffee shop or park bench. Most people think you’re simply resting your eyes, when in actual fact you’re having a deep and blissful experience. It couldn’t be more ideal!
Every talk is different as it is aimed at covering whatever material the audience feels is relevant to them. Common themes are things such as learning how and why we get stressed, how we can begin to calm the stress response down, what different types of meditation you can access and where vedic meditation fits in.
