"There’s a familiar question that always gets asked: “What would your super power be?” When someone wants to know how you would improve your life with a super hero, fantasy skill. (Walk on Water?… Fly?… See through walls?…) If someone asked me that question now I would say that I don’t need a make believe ‘power’ as I have meditation. Very briefly – meditation is incredible – you feel amazing, the world rolls with you and all questions / stresses can be dealt with using a clear, balanced perspective. Everything just seems easier. Will’s style of teaching is perfect for modern city living. He guides you, so you understand how to work meditation into your lifestyle, rather than having to schedule your lifestyle to suit meditation. "

"I had been attempting to practise mindfulness for about 15 years but could never really clear my busy mind of thoughts and I always felt like a bit of a failure because of it. Vedic meditation turned out to be exactly what I was looking for: a very practical, very easy way of meditating. All I had to do was repeat the mantra Will gave me. Having meditated for four months, twice a day, I’ve already felt a significant difference in my life: There’s a greater sense of underlying calm, a clearer perspective on the little dramas which no longer seem to affect me, and i’m convinced it has helped me to quit smoking too. I now feel I’m at the beginning of a lifelong journey – there is so much to discover it seems! Will is a very sincere and engaging exponent of this great knowledge. "

"I used to practice Vipassana meditation and I whilst I loved it, I needed to find something that I could more easily integrate into my life. Will has given me a totally different approach of what meditation can be and provided me with this amazing new tool that allows me to tune into myself easily and without strain. "I tried Transcendental Meditation with a different teacher about a year ago but, along with several of the other students, I had been very unhappy with the methods and instructions we were given. But I always suspected that with the right teacher I might have had a different experience. I’m so pleased that I trusted my instincts and asked Will Williams if he would help me. He invited me to join his classes and from the very beginning I was amazed at the difference to my previous experience. I have an interest in Psychology and Neuroplasticity and Will is well aware of the new scientific research on the beneficial effects of mediation on the brain. His talks about these effects and benefits were so interesting.. He is also an inspiring teacher on the historical and spiritual aspects of meditation. He took the trouble to re-introduce me to my mantra and since then I have been motivated to meditate twice a day and it has been quite simply life changing. I feel so much more grounded and centered. I’m also experiencing a lot more synchronicity in my life. I know this is the start of a fascinating and exciting journey. "

"I went and learned with Will last year and had a very positive experience and have subsequently been recommending the course to friends. I had to have an operation soon after and I found the meditation really helped with the anxiety prior to it, and the recovery afterwards. I was extremely happy to get pregnant in the following couple of weeks (after 10 months of trying). It seems the meditation helped my body get back to where it needed to be . I am truly delighted with the results! "

"I loved loved loved Will’s beginners meditation course. I came away super motivated to practice twice a day every day without fail, and so far its worked brilliantly 🙂 I had been practicing mantra meditation for about a year using a brain entrainment programme called Lifeflow meditation. It consisted of listening to audio tracks designed to affect our brain wave patterns. Over the weekend that I learned Vedic meditation I realized that I had been missing out certain essential things from my meditation practice and it was also obvious that this new mantra was way more effective that the one I got online. On the third night of the course I slept deeply and completely for most of the night which is a new experience for me. My sleep patterns for the last 15 years have been broken; I have been used to waking up repeatedly during the night every night. Each night since the course I have had the same deep sleep for around 6 hours and then light sleeping for whatever time I have left in the morning. Even though I was previously able to fall back to sleep quickly, now that my sleep pattern has changed so dramatically for the better, I realize how much I was missing of the deep sleep phases of the sleep cycle. On those occasions when I have had some negative emotional experience in life, instead of my usual reaction where I try and escape into a film or something, I simply felt that it was ok to feel these things and it no longer caused me any agitation! I have also noticed that my awareness of other people has increased. I am noticing people’s facial expressions are more animated than I ever realized. During my meditation I have noticed that I tend to wave into and out of a deep state between 1 and 4 times in each meditation, which is exactly what Will said would happen in the course. I find that the practice feels more beneficial when I hear the mantra as a deep guttural sound instead of the lighter, more high pitched sound that my previous mantra took on. This seems more primordial somehow. During the meditation I have felt occasional waves of something familiar, feelings that I recognize from my past but that I haven’t been able to access to for a very long time. Feelings such as freedom and wonder and hopefulness, feelings that feel like they’re hovering about me waiting for me to remember. I feel like I have been looking for diamonds all over the place, I am slowly remembering that I need only to look inward to find them. "

"My sleep patterns for the last 15 years have been broken; I have been used to waking up repeatedly during the night every night. "I met Will Williams in January 2014 having learned in Sydney a year previously. I was looking for a Vedic meditation group I could join for group meditations. I was immediately impressed by Will’s friendly approach and his obvious passion for all things meditation. He is such an open and charming fellow and it seemed the whole group was getting on with him famously, myself included. It transpired he’d actually trained alongside my teacher from Sydney. Having seen first hand the positive difference the Vedic meditation had made on my life, my wife was very curious about it, but she was worried about he she would fit it in with lookng after two young children. But as soon as she met Will and he talked her through some of the strategies for doing it as a young mother, she opted to take the course. She greatly enjoyed it and her meditation practice has made a huge difference to her and to our family life in general. She is much more calm and balanced, and now there are two of us feeling this way, our kids get to benefit from having two much more relaxed parents 🙂 I always feel extremely welcome at Will’s group meditations, it’s actually where I’ve had some of my most profound meditations. As a result, I recently took the advanced course and that has taken things to a whole new level. It feels that all my inner talents are coming to the fore and my creativity (I’m a designer) has rocketed. I am also finding that my ability to pitch ideas has vastly improved thanks to the meditation. I no longer get nervous when I am presenting my ideas and I no longer feel wounded or rejected if they don’t get picked up. Will really is a truly meditation teacher and his commitment to teaching and bringing its benefits to his students is hugely impressive. If you’re interested in learning Vedic meditation, or indeed any kind of meditation I’d recommend you go to one of Will’s free introductory talks and learn all about it. You won’t regret it. "

"Having done many years of yoga, mindfulness and other guided meditation techniques , I came across this website and felt like I wanted to try a new style of meditation to see if it could deliver . Once I completed the course I started practising for 20 minutes twice a day as suggested, repeating this simple little mantra that Will gave me. All I can say is wow ! What a difference this has made to my life!! I had felt a long yearning to alter my path in life but I didn’t really know how to accomplish that change , until now. Vedic meditation has brought a clarity to my thinking, a different perspective on life and it has delivered a sense of calm, peace of mind, and a tangible sense of oneness with my myself and the world I now feel a part of. These days, the pace of life seems so fast and just so full of ‘stuff’ that investing 20 mins twice a day may seem a little daunting at first. However, the rewards are significant and plentiful and there is nothing that would deter me from doing my daily practice, it simply adds too much value to my life. And it buys me time. Lots of it. "I am 21 years old and I recently completed a Business and Management degree at the University of Exeter. Like the majority of my friends around my age, I was very unsure about the next stages in my life and was very lost. Having worked in the Financial sector during internships and starting my own company at University I still found no purpose of where I wanted to progress in life, only knowing I was determined to be highly successful and make a difference. I took this course to help me focus my mind on what I want in life. After just over 1 month, my life has totally transformed; I know where I want to go and have truly realised the extreme benefits of meditation after this short period of time. I am more focused and I feel a lot calmed, where I am worrying less and less about matters which really are not worth worrying about. This epic transformation I have experienced has been the best thing I have ever undergone. This has triggered a passion for the subject where I am constantly reading about Vedic meditation and the history behind it (which I must say has been much more fulfilling than just watching TED talks, biographies, and books such as “speed reading techniques; all of these offered techniques of improvement, yet only made me more stressed by having extra things on my to do list to complete). Will is an incredible teacher and is most definitely the most wise person I have met in my life (apologies to my lecturers). He has opened an entirely new world to me and actually cares about my personal progression. I must admit when I read the description and spoke to Will before I started the course I was highly dubious that it was just another classic sales pitch, trust me, it is not. 4 months ago a great friend of mine said I should try meditation to which my reply was “sorry mate, it just doesn’t work for me”. I now realise how naive that comment was, I hope as the reader, you truly understand the normality of meditation and the true benefits that are available. "

"I attended a 4 session course in April, and my objectives were to become a bit more relaxed and to improve my sleep problems, which were considerable. Will teaches the meditation in a way that is really straight forward to follow and I have completed the morning & evening meditations probably 99% of times over the 6 months since. I never would have guessed that I would keep it up so diligently but I have to admit I really rather love it! After about 2 months it dawned on me that I had been sleeping so much better, bit by bit, every week it had been getting better. Now I get a good 7 hours sleep most nights, only waking for a very short period probably once a night. I have even found the light mornings of summertime don’t worry me now, as they used to, which is such a relief. I am also much more relaxed. In the past I tried mindfulness meditation, but I found trying to keep my mind clear of thoughts was impossible and it led me to feelings of failure & a longing for the session to be over. It nearly put me off meditation completely but I thought I’d give it one more go and chanced upon Will’s site. I have found that Vedic meditation is much easier to practice and I actually look forward to the 20 minutes morning & evening and see them as one of the highlights of my day. The group meditations that you have access to after you have learned are amazing. It’s difficult to articulate the relaxation & satisfaction that comes every time you do one. I look on the meditation from a scientific point of view and not a spiritual one, and I have been really pleased with the results so far and I actually cannot wait to take it to the next level on a retreat, I am really intrigued by how good this is! "

"Learning Vedic meditation has had a profound impact on my life, health and wellbeing. I’m calmer, less stressed and my digestive issues have disappeared. I’m also more productive, inspired and creative in the work I do, which has helped me enormously with setting up my own business. Less rattled by the events that life throws at me, life is somewhat smoother and a lot brighter!
